IMPLIKIT

We are a group of researchers, educators and technologists collaborating globally at intersections of risk and technology.

Implikit is a neurotechnology safety initiative science and technology to address systemic challenges. Our founding platform pioneered neuroresponsive VR by integrating immersive virtual reality, neuroimaging, and biofeedback technologies. It was designed to assess neutrality, data sovereignty, privacy, and security risks of brain-computer interfaces and AI systems.

Our team advises academic, intergovernmental, multinational, and civil society partners on critical infrastructure security, systems theory, intergroup conflict, and technology. We facilitate high level dialogue and provide experiential and immersive learning opportunities. Our footprint is global in reach, having partnered and facilitated in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and South America.

Implikit was founded in 2016 at the MIT Media Lab by Marie-Therese Png and Genevieve Ennis Hume.  It is the recipient of the MIT Future of People Fast Forward Award.
