IMPLIKIT

We are a group of researchers, educators and technologists collaborating globally at intersections of risk and technology.

Implikit is a neurotechnology initiative leveraging the science of power and compassion to address systemic challenges. Our founding platform pioneered neuroresponsive VR by integrating immersive virtual reality, neuroimaging, and biofeedback technologies. It was designed to provoke dialogue on neutrality, privacy, gamification, data ownership, and security in relation to the brain and AI

Our team advises academic, intergovernmental, multinational, and civil society partners on systems theory, intergroup conflict, transcultural power, trust, and technology with the aim of fostering collaboration, innovation, and justice. We facilitate high level dialogue and provide experiential and immersive learning opportunities. Our footprint is global in reach, having partnered and facilitated in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and South America.

Implikit was founded in 2016 at the MIT Media Lab by Marie-Therese Png and Genevieve Ennis Hume.  It is the recipient of the MIT Future of People Fast Forward Award.
